Christian Family Solutions Seminars
Grace is partnering with Christian Family Solutions during the upcoming ministry year to provide seminars by licensed professional counselors to help strengthen our families. Many of the problems we see in our homes, our schools and communities can be addressed by strengthening God’s basic building block for society – the family. Our first seminar entitled Building Strong Parent-Child Relationships will be September 27th at 6:15 PM and led by Sarah Reik, MS, LPC, DCC. Sign up now to attend. Child care is available for $5 per family if you are registered.
Child Care News
Grace welcomes Katie Henzi to our teaching staff this month. Katie is a 2018 graduate of Martin Luther College and is relocating to Charlotte from Brillion, Wisconsin. We are also thankful for the service of Clair Ellingboe, a 3rd-year student from Martin Luther College, who is completing a summer internship at Grace through mid-August. She has been a great help! Grace’s child care has implemented the use of brightwheel in the classrooms, using it to check in children, communicate with parents and track employee hours. What a great blessing! Please note that the child care will be closed on July 4th for Independence Day and on August 17th for Teacher Prep Day. If you have any questions regarding the child care ministry, please speak with Director Sarah Krajewski.
